A NEW Building Has Gone Up at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
It seems like there’s almost always construction happening at Walt Disney World! One week a restaurant could be shut down for refurbishment, and the next your bathrooms are closed in your resort hotel lobby.
There are also new things being built at Disney World, like in EPCOT and over at the hotels!
It was announced last year that new Disney Vacation Club villas would be coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. We’ve been keeping our eyes on the construction, and now we have another big update for you!
Polynesian Construction Update
A NEW building is going up at the Polynesian!
For months now, we’ve only seen one building being worked on in this area. But now, there are two buildings being worked on!
A lot of progress is clearly being made over here.
This area has been under construction since last year. The new DVC villas have taken over the space that used to have the Spirit of Aloha dinner show, which is now extinct.
This is going to be a big DVC villa tower. The concept art made it all look like one building, so maybe these two will be connected, or the concept has changed a bit.
These villas should be open sometime in late 2024. We’ll continue to keep checking on this area and let you know about any other significant progress we see!
Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
