The Boneyard to Close for Refurbishment Soon in Disney World
Something is closed at Disney World almost every single day. This might seem like an exaggeration, but there is rarely a time when every ride, restaurant, store, kiosk, and more are all open at the same time.
Disney has regular closures around the resort so that they can renovate areas or just maintain them. These can last for a week, or they can last for literal years.

Splash Mountain has officially closed in Magic Kingdom
We keep up with all of these closures so that we can let you know and you can better plan your vacation! And, there’s a new closure coming up soon.
The Boneyard Closure
The Boneyard is temporarily closing soon in DinoLand U.S.A. at Animal Kingdom. The playground is showing no hours from May 1st through June 12th.

It looks like it will be reopened on June 13th from 9AM to 7PM. On the day calendar for Disney World, it says that The Boneyard is closing for refurbishment during this time.
If you don’t know, The Boneyard is a play area for kids 10 and under. It’s themed to be a dig site where kids can go across rope bridges, climb through caves, and go down big slides.

Around the dig site, you’ll see some dinosaur fossils like that of a Triceratops and a T-Rex. Parents are allowed in the area with their kids and can sit down in the shaded seating area where there are large fans to help them cool down.
