If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog on our social media channels, you’ll know that it was a fantastic time that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. But, if you have more questions about what exactly is an after-hours event and what the ticket entails, then keep reading, as this post is for you!
We’ve got photos of the exclusive Throwback Nite souvenir park map to show you, and we’ll take a closer look at all the experiences and events listed inside. Sound good? Then keep reading and let’s go!
Upon entering the park for the event, guests will be able to collect one of these souvenir park maps, alongside a lanyard that identifies them as an after-hours ticket holder. Just like the regular maps we see every day at the parks, these folded flyers contain a wealth of information as to all the whats, the wheres, and the who’s-whos of the After Dark event.
Let’s get it opened, and see what’s going on!
The front of the map gives us a gorgeous castle shot (you can’t go wrong with a good photo of Sleeping Beauty Castle, can you?) and that fun “Throwback Nite” logo.
The date of April 2023 is also listed at the top, making this a fun souvenir to keep hold of. Who knows, maybe this map itself will be a “throwback” in a few year’s time? How meta.
You can also see that iconic Disney100 logo printed at the bottom, reminding us of the ever-magical anniversary celebration that is ongoing across Disneyland Resort right now. It sure is an exciting time to be visiting, and you can read more about how the resort is commemorating the occasion here!
Opening up the map, we can see an exciting agenda of exclusive activities scheduled to take place right across the resort. Perhaps the most highly-anticipated entertainment offering is the “Fantasy in the Sky” firework spectacular, although there were Mariachi and Swing Dancing displays to enjoy, too!
Another fabulous part of after-hours events at Disney Parks is the fact that it offers guests the chance to meet rare characters, and pose for unique photo opportunities all across the park. You can see the huge list of the characters meeting and greeting throughout the resort above, including rarely-spotted favorites such as Dumbo, Mr. Morrow, and the Three Little Pigs!
All of these exclusive offerings are clearly highlighted on the map, which is no doubt going to be a highly-used planning tool for anyone looking to make the most out of the event!
Other information on the map includes details on late-night parking, promotion for the Disneyland app and PhotoPass service, and teasers for other exciting Disneyland After Dark events. Lots to be reading as you wait in line to meet the characters, we’d say!
As well as the park map, Greg and Elyssa also picked up one of these “Food & Beverage Guide” flyers, which serve as a menu into all the limited-time and exclusive food offerings available across the park.
As you can see from the list, these are scattered right across different dining locations all around the park, so having this flyer is definitely a handy way to ensure we don’t miss any of the good stuff!
Whether you’re planning a visit to the next Throwback Nite, or are just curious as to what happens at a Disneyland After Dark event, we hope you found this look into the souvenir park map helpful!
As always, these maps are so useful and handy when it comes to planning an after-hours trip, even for those of us who know the resort and its layout well. Be sure to pick one up on your next visit, and you won’t miss a thing!
