Well, it’s not technically halfway to actual Halloween until the end of April, but Disney is already celebrating. They’ve released spooky treats and they’re going to keep sharing fun news about the upcoming season!

And, we just found something on the Disney auditions website that’s a big clue to what Halloween and the holidays will look like at Disney World this year.
Disney World Holiday Parade Auditions
Disney World is looking for performers! It was posted on Disney’s auditions website that they’re looking for parade performers for some upcoming holiday parades.

The online submissions are only being accepted through 8PM tonight, April 18th. But, this is some exciting news about the upcoming holidays!
The auditions are for Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. This means both of those parades are basically confirmed to be returning!

This also probably means that the holiday parties in Magic Kingdom are returning as well, since that’s when these parades mostly take place.
Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade typically happens during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade usually takes place at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (up until RIGHT before Christmas!).

So, this isn’t 100% confirmation that these parties will be back, but the parades that happen at the parties seem like they’re going to be! The only other situation we could think of is if Disney suddenly got rid of these parties and/or decided to show these parades during normal theme park hours.
But, that seems highly unlikely, since Disney makes a lot of extra money from the parties, as they are separately-ticketed events.

It is Halfway to Halloween right now, so we’ll keep an eye out for any other information about the upcoming spooky season! Stay tuned for news.
