Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane Prices Drop!

If you have visited Walt Disney World in the last few weeks, you are already aware of the spring break and Easter crowds at the resort. 

MickeyBlog has reported on the crowds, long lines, and extensive wait times at all of the parks.

New attractions, great weather, and spring vacations attracted plenty of guests and the crowds were definitely here.

We even saw record high pricing for Disney Genie+ …and guests did not mind the price increase as they repeatedly sold out.

But today we noticed that Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane prices are dropping!

Is this the end to our Easter and spring break crowds at Disney crowds?

Last year, MickeyBlog reported on new Genie+ record highs over the major holidays and Presidents Day Weekend. Genie+ was available for $29 and consistently selling out.

Over Spring Break, Genie+ reached a new record high at $35!

A quick glance inside the My Disney Experience app shows Disney Genie+ is dropping and is available for $25 today.

The price for Disney Genie+ typically fluctuates based on park attendance and needs. The price drop could mean that the crowds are dispersing and Spring Break is coming to an end.

What about Lightning Lane?

We also saw individual individual Lightning Lanes consistently selling out over the last few weeks. These allow guests to purchase individual experiences on some of the most popular rides letting you skip the regular standby lines.

Individual Lightning Lanes prices vary and are based on the individual ride and crowds for the day.

Magic Kingdom has plenty of Lightning Lanes available today and heading into the weekend.

And Tron has availability for both the virtual queue and the Lightning Lanes.

This is great news for vacationers. Guests have access to some the most popular rides again as Spring Break comes to a close and the crowds lessen.

This weekend looks like it is a great time to visit the parks and experience your favorite attractions.
