Featurette: Behind the Scenes of ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ with Jude Law and Cast
We are exactly two weeks away from the premiere of Peter Pan & Wendy on Disney+. Today, Walt Disney Studios takes us behind the scenes with Jude Law and the cast, for a special look at the live-action film!

We’ve shared a couple of trailers from the film, including a brand-new one that debuted a few days ago. As reported before, the development of this fantasy adventure film began back in 2016.

Since then, Disney has worked to perfect the script with the film finally premiering on April 28, 2023. Disney shared a new featurette today on Twitter!
It’s captioned, “Jude Law and the cast of Peter Pan & Wendy go behind the adventure of the epic movie event, streaming only on Disney+ April 28.”

As the video opens, the director, David Lowery talks about how “Peter Pan is one of the crown jewels of the Disney library.” Beloved by fans, he refers to the task of adapting it as “daunting.”

That being said, he couldn’t resist the opportunity! Jude Law chimes in, adding “This tale has had such impact on people’s imagination.”
Lowery discusses how he wanted to bring the story to life in a new way. Producer, Jim Whitaker, explains that this version is basically Peter Pan‘s story, as seen through Wendy’s eyes.

Ever Anderson who plays Wendy Darling describes her experience working on the film as “magical.” The infamous Captain Hook is played by Jude Law.
Lowery describes Law’s portrayal of the villain as “deliciously evil.” Law says that this version gives fans a look at how the feud between Captain Hook and Peter Pan started.
