Disney Cruise Line Guests Get Connected

Disney Cruise Line is encouraging Guests that will be onboard select Summer 2023 sailings on The Wish to get Connected.

DisneyBand+

Previously Disney Cruise Line announced that it would be bring the parks MagicBand+ technology onboard with the release of the DisneyBand+.

If you aren’t familiar with what MagicBand+ technology is, it is wearable technology that in the parks acts as your park ticket, resort room key, gives you the ability to have charging privileges without the need to have your credit card on you, it interacts with assorted technology in the parks and interacts during different nighttime park spectaculars.

Onboard the Disney Cruise Ships it will work similarly.

During your cruise it will be your room key, used for kids entry into the kid’s clubs, charging privileges and your easy way to connect your onboard photographer pictures.

The Wish

When Disney Cruise Line made the announcement they said DisneyBand+ would be rolled out starting on select Summer cruise onboard Disney Wish.

Then to the rest of the fleet would eventually follow.

Get Connected

Guests on those select sailings onboard the Wish are being asked to Connect Your Stateroom Guests.

When they log into their Disney Cruise Line accounts they will see this request to Connect Your Stateroom Guests.

Much like the My Disney Experience Walt Disney World accounts you will have a Family and Friends list.

From that list you will match your stateroom guests.

How to purchase your DisneyBand+

You will also be able to purchase your DisneyBand+ through your Disney Cruise Line reservation, 11 to 45 days before you embark.

You not only will be able to choose from assorted options of DisneyBand+, including Disney Cruise Line exclusives at a discounted rate.

You also will be able to use a MagicBand+ from a previous Disney World or Disneyland trip.
