BREAKING: New Artwork Plus Mama Odie in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Everyone look out! Disney just released new artwork, plus Mama Odie is appearing in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Actress Jennifer Lewis will reprise her role from the 2009 film, The Princess and the Frog for Disney’s retheming of Splash Mountain.
What antics will Mama Odie get into in this new storyline? No details on that yet, but we’re sure it will involve some Bayou magic.

So far, we know that Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen will host a magical Mardi Gras celebration and there’s going to be a bit of a mix up with the party preparations. A brand new band of critters to lend their voices to the soundtrack along with other new characters working at Tiana’s Foods.

Imagineers are working alongside New Orleans artist Sharika Mahdi as the catalyst for much of the artistic inspiration. Her work brings a local’s perspective to the bayou-based storyline. We’ve still got a long way to go in the construction process and MickeyBloggers will continue to update followers as it progresses.

- Do you love beignets as much as Louis? Well, you’re in luck because the alluring scent of beignets being prepared for the party will be part of the attraction queue!
- Additional talent voices from the film reprising their roles, including Bruno Campos as Prince Naveen, Michael Leon Wooley as Louis, and the one and only Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana
- Familiar faces from the film such as Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Mama Odie, Louis, Eudora, Charlotte, “Big Daddy,” the King and Queen of Maldonia and Prince Ralphie
