Two More Disney World 50th Anniversary Details Removed From Magic Kingdom
Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration officially ended on March 31st, but a lot of decorations have remained in the parks.
Still, we’ve seen the removal of the Cinderella Castle 50th medallion, Main Street, U.S.A. banners, and more, and now another two Magic Kingdom icons have changed.
Cinderella Castle Removed From Emporium
During Disney World’s 50th celebration, a huge 50th-themed Cinderella Castle was on prominent display in the Emporium.
For context, it was located near one of the store entrances, with a giant 50 logo located in front of it.
But now, the 50th logo remains, but Cinderella Castle is officially gone. Time will tell when the 50th logo finally gets removed!
50th Medallion Removed From Candy Castle
And over by Main Street Confectionery, you may have missed the candy version of Cinderella Castle in one of the display windows.
The candy castle was placed during the 50th celebration and it included a 50th medallion, just like the real Cinderella Castle.
But now, it’s time to say goodbye! Just like the original Cinderella Castle, the 50th medallion has been removed, and the classic clock is now on display.
If you’re passing by Main Street Confectionery, don’t forget to stop and take a look at the candy castle! Just look at all those details.
We’re keeping our eyes peeled for more 50th anniversary changes throughout the parks, so keep following MickeyBlog for more Disney World news!
