Orange Bird Added to EPCOT’s Mickey Ear Topiaries
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is underway, occurring through July 5, 2023. Upon a recent visit, we noticed that Orange Bird was added to some previously plain, Mickey Ear topiaries!

Disney invites you to “attend a springtime event abloom with brilliant gardens, fresh flavors, lively entertainment and more.” The festivities kicked off on March 1!
MickeyBlog reported as food booths and topiaries began to spring up in the area. One of the displays we shared featured three Mickey ears.

As seen in the photo, previously, the ear portion showased images of greenery to match the face.
Orange Bird Added
Now, however, Orange Bird has been added to the ears, and doesn’t he look adorable?!
Orange Bird has been a symbol for Disney World since its opening. He’s a popular character that’s transformed over the years, through art and stories.
Let’s take a closer look at the new additions! One ear features the cheerful bird flying with a flower packet at his feet.
It says, “Florida, USA .” Citrusy colors of orange and green make up its color scheme.
He’s flying over a colorful landscape filled with sunlight and greenery. There are also some clouds and daisies nearby.
The other ear features Orange Bird sitting in the grass. Surrounded by blooms, he looks as happy as can be!
