It Should Be Illegal For This Disney World Ride to Have an Hour Wait
It’s ridiculously busy in Disney World right now. Spring break season is not slowing down!
We’ve seen some big crowds at the parks, including some high wait times. It’s to be expected during this time of the year.
What’s NOT to be expected is to see high wait times at rides that almost never have them, which is what we found over at EPCOT today!
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
The Seas with Nemo & Friends had a whopping 60 minute wait time around noon today! That might seem normal for a lot of rides in Disney World, but it is NOT normal for Nemo.
As you can see, other rides had high wait times too. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was at 120 minutes and Soarin’ was at 110 minutes.
This ride is super cute, but it’s almost never at a high wait time. It’s an Omnimover ride like Haunted Mansion, so it continuously moves, and it doesn’t have any sort of pre-show like Haunted Mansion that would hold people up.
We were honestly blown away. The line went out into an extended queue outside! This is a rare sight to see.
Luckily, we check back in around 4PM and the wait time was down to 20 minutes. Phew! Looks like it was just high during the middle of the day.
Other Long Lines
It’s been very busy in the parks lately due to spring break, so we checked out a few other wait times in the parks to see how things were going today! Around 4PM in EPCOT, Frozen Ever After was at 115 minutes and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was at 130 minutes.
Over in Magic Kingdom, the highest wait times went to Enchanted Tales with Belle (?!) at 80 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 110 minutes, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 115 minutes.
In Hollywood Studios, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway had a wait time of 85 minutes, Rise of the Resistance was at 95 minutes, and Slinky Dog Dash was at 125 minutes.
Finally, at Animal Kingdom, we saw Kali River Rapids at 95 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 105 minutes, and Flight of Passage at 115 minutes. It’s about 89 degrees in Disney World right now, so that’s probably why Kali River Rapids has a high wait — people want to cool down!
If you want to avoid some of these long lines, we would tell you to buy Disney Genie+, but it actually sold out this morning in Disney World! The other option is to keep an eye on those wait times through your My Disney Experience app to see when things slow down.
