While Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway marked the first time that an attraction was constructed around Mickey Mouse, the real star of the attraction may have been a new character.
Chuuby, the happy waving bird created specifically for the attraction, has won over Disney fans since making its debut.
The song-and-dance bird appears twice in the attraction, once at the beginning and once at the end.
Since the attraction opened, Chuuby has appeared on all kinds of merchandise and even debuted in the Disney+ special The Wonderful Summer of Mickey Mouse.
