New “Encanto” Bruno Varsity Jacket Creeps into Walt Disney World
Gather round, familia, as we’ve just found a brand-new jacket over at Walt Disney World, that certainly needs to be talked about!
Inspired by the most misunderstood member of the Madrigal family, this cool, Varsity-inspired bomber is sure to get murmurs of admiration from everyone in the town. Let’s check it out!
We’ve loved Bruno ever since Encanto hit Disney+ back in 2021, but tío is having quite the moment when it comes to awesome apparel at Walt Disney World recently! First the hat, then the Spirit Jersey, and most recently this awesome hip pack have silently crept into stores around the resort, (presumably getting in through the walls), and now it’s this epic jacket joining the collection.
Considering all Bruno wears in the movie is a ruana and a withered smile, it’s a really fun trend that we’re really enjoying following along with!
This awesome new jacket was found today by our MickeyBloggers at Epcot, and it sure is a statement piece that fans of the movie are sure to adore. It’s a classic, zipper-up bomber-jacket style made of a thick canvas material.
The sleeves are made from a black faux-leather, but the rest of the coat is colored in Bruno’s signature shades of green – perfect for keeping a low profile and slipping mysteriously through the shadows!
The chest of the jacket captures this enigmatic energy, with an embroidered portrait of Bruno surrounded by rats can be seen peering out from behind a cloak. These little rat buddies are also embroidered in fun spots across the jacket, but it’s the design on the back that really stands out to us!
As you can see, the reverse side of the garment features a huge, more friendly-looking embroidered graphic of Bruno. Around him are the words “If you can read this, the rats fell off,” hilariously referring to Bruno’s infamous “seven-foot frame, rats along his back” general appearance!
Even the interior lining of this coat is full of fun Bruno magic and mischief, with the black fabric printed with icons such as rats, stars, plats, pails of sand, and more.
It’s such a detailed and fun jacket, we’d love to see more of these for all the rest of the Madrigal family!
