Everything You Need To Know About Dining Aboard the Disney Magic
One of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise? The mealtimes! Dining aboard the Disney Magic is just one of the ways that families can relax and unwind and sea. With a Disney Cruise Line sailing, there is no shortage of awesome options! Aboard the Disney Magic, you’ll find everything from full-course culinary fun to elaborately-themed restaurants with a lot of “character.”
Let’s check out some of the incredible dining experiences you can enjoy on a Disney Magic sailing!
Rapunzel’s Royal Table
One of the highlights of a cruise aboard the Disney Magic is this dining experience inspired by Disney’s beloved film Tangled. You’ll be magically transported to the kingdom of Corona for an evening brimming with music and interactive fun with your hosts Rapunzel and the Snuggly Duckling Thugs!
From the moment you step inside the regal ballroom in the royal castle, you’ll know that something special is about to happen. Lit with glowing lanterns and adorned with colorful drawings, everyone is officially invited by the King and Queen of Corona to take part in this festive celebration for Rapunzel’s birthday. Guests will be treated to live entertainment with ample opportunity to sing along while you indulge in themed menus, special activities and a Corona-style parade!
Animator’s Palate
This eatery is so popular with cruisers that you’ll find one on the Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder. Animator’s Palette features animation-adorned walls and large high-definition flat screens where magical animation comes to life all around you. The restaurant is filled with fun décor including custom-built Mickey Mouse chairs.
Drawn to Magic – One every Disney Magic sailing, guests will get the chance to experience “Drawn to Magic” dinner animation show! The venue features classic black and white sketches of hand-drawn Disney classics including Steamboat Willie. Oversized digital canvases will give unseen artists an opportunity to sketch character portraits in real time throughout the meal. As dinner beings to wind down a “Drawn to Magic” finale ends the meal on a high note. Guests will be fully immersed in this animated show about a hero’s journey through Disney and Pixar Animation.
Animation Magic – On SELECT sailings, guests will be invited to draw a character of their own using a template on your placemat. On several large monitors around the dining room, Sorcerer Mickey appears and invites guests to enjoy a montage of memorable food-themed Disney moments set to “Be Our Guest.” After dinner Mickey returns to show off the incredible guest drawings. You’ll watch in awe as the drawings step into scenes from beloved Disney films right alongside Mickey, Jiminy Cricket, Cinderella, Snow White and more!
