Celebrate 100 Years of Wonder With This Oswald Figurine
As the Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th anniversary, the company is taking the time to look back over its storied history.
While Mickey Mouse has, understandably, been front and center during the celebration, Disney has also done a good job of remembering the important contributions that another animated character made to the early success of the company.

I am, of course, talking about Oswald the Lucky Rabbit — Walt Disney’s first cartoon star.
Since acquiring Oswald in 2006, Disney has used the character sparingly outside of the Epic Mickey video games.
In the last year, however, we have gotten a new Oswald short, an Ortensia meet and greet at Disneyland, and a plethora of new merchandise. It is truly a great time to be an Oswald fan.

When visiting Curtain Call Collectibles today, we came upon another Disney100 Oswald souvenir. This time it is an Oswald figurine!
The stylized Oswald is covered in platinum, which makes sense, considering Disney is calling its 100th anniversary the “platinum anniversary!”
Although given a metallic coat, Oswald’s personality still shines through in this figurine.
The happy-go-lucky rabbit is joyfully waving in a way that looks both inviting and mischievous.
What better way to remember your visit to Walt Disney World during the company’s 100th celebration than with an Oswald figure?!
There was a time when finding Oswald merchandise was a rarity, but luckily now he is prevalent again.
This figure would be an amazing display piece and a good conversation starter!
