A New Hyatt House Hotel To Be Built Near Disney Springs
There was a time during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic when people wondered if the tourism industry would survive.
For those of us who frequent Walt Disney World, the idea that the parks and resorts of Central Florida would be shuttered was unthinkable. Nevertheless, that was reality.
Well, I am happy to announce that not only has Central Florida’s tourism survived the pandemic, but it is back and stronger than ever.
A New Extended-Stay Option
If you are looking for evidence of this rebound, look no further than the new boutique Hyatt-brand hotel that is in the works, just northeast of Walt Disney World.
Located near Disney Springs, the new 110-room Hyatt House hotel will be constructed at 11901 Ravallo Resort Drive.
While details are still sparse regarding the new development, the Hyatt House brand typically features suites with full kitchens, as well as amenities such as on-site laundry facilities. These hotels usually target travelers who are looking for extended-stay accommodations.
What To Expect
The recently opened Hyatt House Orlando Airport, for example, has suites with full kitchens. These include dishwashers, stoves, refrigerators, and more. The hotel also has an outdoor heated pool, fitness center, bar, and patio.
While unconfirmed, it is likely that the new development near Disney Springs will feature similar amenities.

With an average occupancy of 72.8%, up 57.7 % from 2021, Orlando hotels are thriving. As such, it comes as no surprise that developers are looking to add more hospitality options to the area.
