Full Tour: Mickey’s Toontown
Disney Parks shared a video on YouTube today, taking viewers through the reimagined area! Jeff, Executive Portfolio Producer for the Disneyland Resort, for Walt Disney Imagineering, will be our guide!
CenTOONial Park
Jeff shares that CenTOONial Park is the heart of Mickey’s Toontown. MickeyBlog reported as Mickey and Minnie figures were installed prior to Toontown’s reopening.
Arts District
The Arts District includes the Bank and City Hall, but its anchor is the El CapiTOON theater. This is the location of Toontown’s new ride, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
As reported before, two, new food locations can also be found in the district. Check out Cafe Daisy and Good Boy! Grocers for some delicious eats and treats!
By now, most people know that Toontown offers a picnic option for Guests. Open, green spaces are the perfect place to enjoy this new area of Southern California’s Disney Theme Parks!

Neighborhood
Toontown’s neighborhood is the location of Minnie and Mickey’s house. This has always been such a fun area!
The bubbly environment makes you feel like you’re living in a cartoon! There are a lot of hidden gems inside Mickey’s dwelling place, so make sure to take your time upon your visit!

It’s a fantastic place for photo ops as well! As you make your way through the house, you’ll eventually end up in Mickey’s barn.
Minnie’s house has a completely different feel! Filled with feminine frills, it’s a must-visit!
I used to take my son to Toontown weekly to let him play. He particularly loved Goofy’s Playhouse!
As part of the reimagining, the area has been enhanced, and dons a new name, Goofy’s How-to-Play Yard. Talk about a fun area!
The rainbow slides are an epic addition, and the fort is reminiscent of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail section of Disney California Adventure Park! We love the creative candy theme inside as well!
Disney did a fabulous job enhancing Donald’s Boat area. Now known as Donald’s Duck Pond, it boasts even more interactive elements!
Have you had the chance to visit Disneyland’s reimagined Mickey’s Toontown yet? I, for one, can’t wait for the opportunity!
