First Look: Irish Pork Bangers Poutine
Our MickeyBloggers celebrated St. Patrick’s Day yesterday by sampling the delectable eats and treats around Walt Disney World. This included a savory favorite that we’re excited to share with you- the Irish Pork Bangers Poutine from The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs.
You’ll find the Daily Poutine near the side entrance to the World of Disney in Disney Springs where we’re told the Irish Pork Bangers Poutine will be served until the end of the month.
For those unfamiliar, poutine is a popular Canadian treat made with French Fries and Cheese Curds and Gravy.
The Irish Pork Bangers Poutine comes with a few noteworthy additions.
Added to the mix are slices of Pork Sausage, Irish Cheddar, Onion Marmalade and Stout Gravey.
You can pick up this savory snack for $10.49.
Unfortunately, our MickeyBlogger Jess said that the treat didn’t meet her expectations.
She said that the sausage was sliced but extremely soft making her wonder if it wasn’t slightly undercooked.
However Jess did say that the Irish Pork Bangers Poutine was flavorful!
She advised that the cheese and gravy gave the dish a comforting savory flavor.
Sometimes Poutine gravy runs the risk of coming off as overly salty. However, in this instance it was not overpowering.
If you’re a Poutine fan than definitely consider popping over to Disney Springs and giving this treat a try before the end of the month!
