There’s a New Easter Egg Cupcake to Hunt For at Magic Kingdom
Here at MickeyBlog, you know we love hunting for new cupcakes just as much as we do Easter Eggs!
So, when we heard that a brand new, Easter-inspired treat had “hopped” onto the scene over at the Magic Kingdom, you can bet we donned our best bunny ears and frolicked on over there!
It’s a beautiful day, with the sun shining down over the springtime season at Walt Disney World. Today, our first stop was the Main Street Confectionary in the Magic Kingdom, where this adorable new Easter Cupcake is bringing smiles and sweetness to the menu for guests!
Isn’t it pretty? We simply had to place an order, and let you know what we thought!
Costing $5.49, this is a standard vanilla cupcake, topped with vanilla buttercream, and cute, seasonal decorations.
Like many Main Street cupcake creations, this sure is a photogenic option, so we’re sure to see it “spring” onto our Instagram feeds over the coming weeks!
As you can see from the photos, the mount of buttercream is sat atop a nest of piped green frosting, with a yellow Easter egg white chocolate decoration tucked onto the side.
There’s rainbow sprinkles also added to brighten the dessert up further and, of course, two chocolate “mouse ears” to finish the treat off!
Our MickeyBlog reporters decided to take this cupcake down Main Street to enjoy in view of the sparkling Cinderella Castle. What a gorgeous view for a springtime morning treat!
So, what did we make of the cake?
Well, while we can confirm that this cupcake looks absolutely delightful, we will say that it is just a standard vanilla cake when it comes to taste. If you like sweetness, then you’ll be a fan of the buttercream frosting, which we found to be very thick atop the sponge.
So, if you like your treats nice and vanilla, we’d definitely recommend this cupcake for you. However, if you’d prefer something a tad more adventurous this spring, why not hop aboard the monorail and head on over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort? They’ve got some delectable and unique treats over there, which you can check out our photos and reviews of here!
Will you be ordering the Easter Cupcake from the Magic Kingdom Main Street Confectionary this springtime?
