Disney Has Released A Slew of New ‘Lion King’ Pins
With all the new releases that Disney is constantly producing, being a Disney pin trader is truly a full-time job.
In order to handle the massive amount of options, many pin traders carve out a niche, focusing on one type of property, franchise, or character to build their collection around.
If you are a pin trader, and you collect Lion King pins, then I have great news for you. Disney has released five new Lion King pins featuring characters from the original animated movie. Let’s take a look at what has come in.
Scar and Zazu Pin
First up we have this Scar and Zazu pin.
Based on the famous scene where Scar has taken over Pride Rock and captured Zazu in a cage, this pin is really a two-for-one.
A defeated Zazu sits in his cage here, while an unamused Scar looks on.
If you are a fan of the Lion King you can’t do much better than getting two iconic characters for the price of one!
Mufasa and Simba Pin
Speaking of classic Lion King scenes, the next pin features Mufasa and Simba looking out over the Pride Lands.
The wisdom that Mufasa imparted to Simba in this scene would guide the young lion cub for the rest of his life.
Mufasa is my personal favorite Lion King character, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this pin.
Young Simba Pin
The third newly released pin features a young Simba, looking over a buffet of bugs.
After joining up with Timon and Pumba, the future king of the Pride Lands changes his diet.
While initially disgusted by the idea of eating bugs, as you can see by this pin, he eventually came around to the idea!
Timon and Pumba Pin
Speaking of Timon and Pumba, the next new pin features the duo excitedly looking over a bug buffet of their own.
The founders of the Hakuna Matata lifestyle sure look happy here, and with a feast like that, who wouldn’t be?
The Cast of the Lion King
Last but not least, we have a pin that is a celebration of all of the stars of The Lion King.
On one side of the pin, we have Nala, looking down at a celebrating Timon and Pumba.
Across the way, however, Scar looks to be victoriously posing, as Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed happily look on below.
Interestingly, Mufasa, Simba, and Rafiki are all missing in this design, making it a very interesting collection of characters!
