Aunty’s Beach House at Disney’s Aulani Resort Lowers Age Requirement
It’s been just under a year that the popular kids club at Disney’s Aulani Resort, Aunty’s Beach House, reopened its doors after being closed due to COVID. When it reopened last May, children were required to be at least five years old to enter. However, it was just announced, that children as young as four years old can join in on all the magic that happens at Aunty’s Beach House!

Children who visit Aunty’s Beach House at Disney’s Aulani Resort, are invited to experience some fun in one of the six, brightly-colored rooms offering various activities. In addition to visiting with Aunty herself, children have access to a computer lab, arts and craft studio, as well as a movie theater.
Children are invited to Aunty’s Beach House is open at Aulani each day from 8 am to 2 pm. All Aulani Guests receive a complimentary 1.5-hour time block on “Uncle’s Side” of Aunty’s Beach House as part of their stay. However, if one was looking to enhance their stay, a two-hour time block that offers premium activities can also be booked for two hours.

Activities offered on Uncle’s SIde include:
- Interactive games
- Arts and crafts based on the theme of the day
Activities offered on Aunty’s Side include:
- Surf’s Up, A Surfin’, Fishin’ and Dancin’ Party with Disney friends
- Opportunities to learn about the ocean and even catch a wave on carpet surfboards
- Get the lowdown on fishing in Hawaii with the always comical, Goofy

It’s important to note that Guests must be pre-registered to enjoy Aunty’s Beach House. Pre-registration opens 90 days prior to your arrival date at Aulani. Pre-registration does not guarantee participation at Aunty’s Beach House but is necessary to obtain a reservation.
Pre-COVID, Aunty’s Beach House was offered to Aulani Guests from three to 12 years old. As previously mentioned, when it reopened last May, it was changed to five years old. With today’s announcement, that the age has been lowered to four years old, it will be interesting to see if it will ever go back to three years old.
