4 Rides You Don’t Want to Miss!
With so much to do at Walt Disney World, it can be tough to fit it all in! Here are four rides you don’t want to miss!
There are numerous attractions, shows, and dining options at each theme park. Make sure you try each of these!
Animal Kingdom – Flight of Passage
Avatar has gotten a lot of attention in the last few months since the release of Avatar: The Way of Water.
Pandora at Animal Kingdom is arguably one of the most beautiful lands in Disney World. It is also home to popular dining and attractions.
Avatar Flight of Passage is one of the rides you don’t want to miss! This ride combines multiple senses to create a fully immersive experience.
Join the Na’vi on their rite of passage by boarding your own banshee and experiencing the sights, smells, and sounds of Pandora.
This ride is incredibly popular, and frequently posts long wait times. You can avoid these long wait times by either heading straight to this attraction as soon as the line opes or purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane.
Individual Lightning Lanes can be purchased through the app; the cost varies per day. Guests do not need to purchase Genie+ to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane.
If you’ve never seen or don’t particularly enjoy the Avatar movies, don’t let that deter you from experiencing this ride! You will still love this attraction!
Hollywood Studios – Tower of Terror
Though this isn’t a new ride by any means, it still makes the list of rides you don’t want to miss!
Somehow, Tower of Terror never gets old. The theme is one that keeps guests coming back for more.
The atmosphere begins before you even enter the building, with a queue that winds through beautiful gardens. But the soundtrack is a combination of 1920s music and the screams of guests on the ride!
When you enter the lobby area, the details of the decor are so intricate, you can’t catch them all in one trip. There’s a good chance you can find something you’ve never noticed before!
While the ride begins the same, one thing that keeps guests coming back is never knowing what sequence of drops you will get.
Make it a game with your group; try to guess if your time in the drop shaft will begin with a fall, or by being shot up to the open windows!
At the conclusion of your ride, make sure you check the gift shop for some amazing souvenirs, like Tower of Terror themed Loungefly bags or ears!
Epcot – Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
While Epcot has two newer rides, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the one that makes the cut for rides you don’t want to miss!
This exciting new ride will leave you guessing, as you’re not sure what will come next!
Even if you’ve already ridden it once (or twice, or three times), did you know there are multiple songs you could end up getting?
It may not seem like it would make too much difference, but the soundtrack of a ride can change the entire feel. So even if you’ve ridden it before, don’t let that stop you from riding it again!
Remember, this attraction is only available via virtual queue or Individual Lightning Lane. So make sure you plan ahead – you don’t want to miss this one!
Magic Kingdom – TRON Lightcycle/Run
Ok, maybe this one hasn’t officially opened yet. But many different groups have been able to preview this much-anticipated new attraction!
First, TRON Lightcycle/Run just looks cool. We’ve been watching this attraction take form from Tomorrowland for awhile, and the excitement has been building!
There are some key differences that have been noted by those who previewed the ride, like the use of lockers to stow belongings.
As with Avatar Flight of Passage, a sample seat outside of the attraction allows guests the opportunity to try the seat before getting in line.
Based on the excitement leading up to this attraction’s opening, it’s sure to be popular for the foreseeable future.
Those who’ve had the opportunity to preview the ride have said they can’t wait to ride it again.
This will be on the list of rides you don’t want to miss for years to come!
