‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ Gets Digital Release Date
Avatar: The Way of Water may be done shattering box office records, but now, the film is ready for its next chapter.
On March 28, the blockbuster James Cameron sequel will be available on digital platforms everywhere!

The Way of Water will not be a Disney+ exclusive, instead being available for purchase on Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, and Movies Anywhere. The film’s digital editions will be available in 4K Ultra HD.
Three Hours of Bonus Content
On March 28, you will not only be able to watch Avatar: The Way of Water from the comfort of your own living room, but the digital release will include more than three hours of additional bonus content.

These special features will further explore the world of Pandora, and the film’s unique production process.
Among the special features, will be a further exploration of Na’vi culture, Pandora’s underwater ecosystems, and a special featurette focusing on Spider. If you have seen the film, you will remember the young human boy who wants to become a member of the Na’vi.

From a more technical perspective, the bonus features will include a deeper look at the performance capture technology used, the intricacies of sound designs, and the FX visual effects team!
