Must-Dos When Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon Reopens!
We just announced the reopening date of Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon. Here are some must-dos when the water park opens on March 19, 2023!
H2O Glow After Hours
Enjoy Typhoon Lagoon after it closes, with H2O Glow After Hours! In addition to a luminescent atmosphere, you’ll be able to experience attractions with minimal wait times!

This specialty-ticketed event begins May 20, with tickets on sale tomorrow. Guests will be treated to an “electric DJ dance party, complimentary ice cream treats, popcorn, and select beverages” during the soirée.

Exciting Attractions
Don’t miss fan-favorite attractions such as the Crush ‘n’ Gusher, which boasts a 400-foot-long “water coaster.” At Humunga Kowabunga, Guests can experience three body slides that will take them down Mount Mayday.

Miss Adventure Falls is a raft attraction, perfect for the whole family! There are also options for smaller children such as Ketchakiddee Creek’s mini waterslides.

Relaxation
Typhoon Lagoon is a tropical paradise, perfect for relaxation. Take it slow with a scenic trip down the lazy river, Castaway Creek.

For more privacy, enjoy Beachcomber Shacks, available for rent during your visit. Perks included “cushioned seating, towels, a locker and souvenir reusable mugs.”

Sample NEW Menu Offerings
Sample the new Pineapple Upside Down Cone at Happy Landings if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat. For something more hearty, head to Leaning Palms for the new Barbeque Chicken and Grilled Pineapple Flatbread.
There will also be an exclusive Typhoon Tilly Sipper available for a limited time. Included are all-day fountain beverage refills.

Disney fans love their Dole Whips and Typhoon Lagoon will offer a new treat for adults. The Kungaloosh Kooler is a Strawberry DOLE Whip with rum, orange juice, and blackberry brandy floated with Strawberry Fanta.
The Moana Cone will return, featuring DOLE Whip Strawberry with vanilla. Also returning, the Hei Hei Cone consists of DOLE Whip Pineapple and Raspberry.

Surf Pool
Disney Parks Blog shares that the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool is the “largest wave pool in North America!” Guests of all ages can catch a wave with a scenic view of Mount Mayday!

Private surf lessons are also available. In addition, Open surf offers surfers or small groups the opportunity to catch a wave!
