We have exciting news! Happy haunts have begun to materialize, upon Disney’s release of the Haunted Mansion‘s teaser trailer and a new poster!
Haunted Mansion
Fans have been awaiting the debut of a film highlighting one of Disney Parks’ most beloved attractions! Although the ride has already been adapted into a movie, with 2003’s The Haunted Mansion starring Eddie Murphy, Disney is taking a stab at it again.
Yesterday, we shared the official trailer for Disney’s upcoming Peter Pan & Wendy, another story that already boasts several adaptations. Haunted Mansion premieres in theaters on July 28, 2023.
Its all-star cast includes Owen Wilson, aka Lightning McQueen, and Rosario Dawson, aka Ahsoka Tano! Jamie Lee Curtis plays the iconic Madame Leota, while Jared Leto portrays Disneyland’s Hatbox Ghost.

Additional cast members include LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Danny DeVito, Chase W. Dillon, and Dan Levy. The movie is directed by Justin Simien, an award-winning filmmaker.

Our team has worked tirelessly to create a scary, funny and cinematic otherworldly adventure for both new and die-hard fans to enjoy!”

He adds, “I can’t wait for audiences to experience this big screen version of the iconic Disney attraction.” The plot follows a mother, Rosario Dawson, and her son, Chase W. Dillon.
The duo is on a mission to get rid of ghostly visitors in their home. Produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with executive producers Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman, it looks like a ghastly adventure only foolish mortals would wish to observe.

Disney also released a new poster for the film! Featuring some of the main characters, it says, “Home is where the haunt is.”
