Disney 100 Vera Bradley Collection Captures Classic Characters
After all of yesterday’s excitement with the start of the 2023 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, we figured the week might be done with Disney suprises, but this morning proved otherwise. In our stop at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom, the nostalgic Vera Bradley DIsney 100 collection dropped almost in its entirety!
With a plethora of bags, a new water bottle design and accessories, the line pops with bright colors. It also features some of our most favorite classic Walt Disney Animation characters, including those from 1951’s “Alice in Wonderland” and 1953’s “Peter Pan.”
A Backpack Fit for Magic Kingdom
Set on a jet black background, the rainbow of shades in each design burst off the bags. We especially love the effect in the Campus Backpack ($150).
Alice explores her curiosities through Wonderland in the bag’s design. Not only do many of her flower acquintances appear on the bag, but the Cheshire Cat also sneakily smiles as Alice goes further down the proverbial rabbit hole.
While the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit rush to assemble a tea party, Peter Pan soars across the bag’s fabric with Tinkerball. His lost boys also appear … well … lost amongst all of the incredible foliage and other character details.
It takes a careful eye, but the Disney 100 Vera Bradley pattern also embeds images from a few other Disney classics, specifically “Snow White and Seven Dwarfs,” “Bambi” and “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.” How cute is Dopey up in the corner of this selection of fabric or Piglet and Pooh nestled near the rose?
Vera Bags, Bottles, Books and More
So far, the line released seven bag on shopDisney. The majority of the collection debuted in the parks also. As with most Vera Bradley lines, a tumbler ($25.99) displays the pattern in a delightful sipper with a bright turquoise straw.
The notebook allows the characters to shine with its flat surface. The $20 keepsake makes for a super gift for fans of classic Disney icons.
For those looking for a smaller bag, the line includes a small wristlet ($28) featuring the Disney 100 fabric.
The drawstring family tote ($85) offers a bit more durability with its nylon strap. This one had not been spotted yet on shopDisney, so it was an extra exciting find today.
For those looking for a more traditional Vera Bradley strap, the line also includes a Tote Bag ($140) with a quilted strap.
Inside each of the bags, the lining spaces the imagery out a bit to reveal symbols from all four feature films used on the outside of the totes.
In one of Vera Bradley’s most efficient designs, the Disney 100 line also includes a Triple Zip Hipster Crossbody Bag ($95). With so many pockets, this bag ranks top on our list for a day trip to the Disney Parks.
Though every design features a different portion of the pattern, the section on the RFID Crossbody Bag ($90) that we spotted today captured so many main characters in all of their naivety.
Many of the totes includes the traditional Vera Bradley/Disney logo patch on the exterior too.
For those looking for comfort on cooler nights, the line also surprised with a fleece throw blanket ($75) featuring the print in a more oversized way.
A Tribute to the First Princess
As the first Disney Princess, Snow White received the royal treatment in this special collection with two items designed to feature her exclusively. We spotted both today at Uptown, includuing this RFID Wristlet ($60).
The circular cosmetic case ($60) presents one of the most unique designs within the Disney 100 collection. Inside, the wipeable fabric allows for quick clean-ups and a protective barrier for the fabric, which matches that of the interior of the totes.
It’s certainly hard to pick a favorite amongst all of these beautiful choices! Head on over to Uptown Jewelers to check them out in person located on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.
