Did You Know?
The classic margarita was created in Mexico in 1938 featuring triple sec, tequila, and lime juice. The classic drink has many variations and is beloved by many. Indulging in these delicious sips are a great way to relax on your Disney vacation.
What is your favorite “go-to” margarita at Disney? Here are a few of mine.
Sunset Margarita -Dockside Margaritas
Avocado Margarita- Mexico Pavilion
Disney aficionados and Epcot fans both love this popular drink! Located in La Cava del Tequila in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, the avocado margarita is smooth, creamy, and perfectly delicious.
Cool off on a hot EPCOT day with this tart frozen concoction of El Mayor Blanco Tequila, Midori melon liquor, and fresh avocado. The drink is blended with fresh lime juice, sweet agave nectar syrup, and is one of my favorites!
The drink is served frozen and a great option when exploring World Showcase.
Frozen Margarita with DOLE Whip Lime- Oasis Bar & Grill
Head to Disney’s Polynesian Resort for a drink the combines 2 of our favorite Disney offerings: DOLE whip and margaritas!
Sip on a creamy frozen blend of Corazon Blanco Tequila and DOLE Whip Lime. And an extra fun touch? Check out the Chili-Lime Seasoning on the rim. Perfect for National Margarita Day.
The African Margarita-Disney’s Animal Kingdom
If you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom on National Margarita Day, you are in luck! Head over to Tusker House for an amazing and delicious drink.
The African Margarita is a perfect blend of Tangerine Liqueur, Sauza Gold Tequila, tart Lime Juice, and Sweet-and-Sour.
The Spanish Margarita- Three Bridges Bar and Grille
Marvelous Watermelon Margarita- BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas
This is the perfect place to celebrate National Margarita Day! Boardwalk Joe’s offers an excellent selection of delicious drinks inlcuding boozy smoothies, pina coladas, and margaritas.
I highly recommend the Marvelous Watermelon Margarita featuring Patrón Silver Tequila, Watermelon, Lime Juice and Sweet-and-Sour. A delicious margarita perfect for exploring the nostalgic Boardwalk!
