Dangerous TikTok Trend Provokes Disneyland Warning
It only takes one person to ruin an experience for everyone when it comes to Disney Parks. Disneyland has been forced to issue a warning after a dangerous TikTok trend provoked action.
A Series of Unfortunate Incidents
Recently, a similar, unfortunate incident occurred in Southern California’s Disney Theme Parks. A TikTok family was criticized for a dangerous Disneyland ride “hack.”

If you didn’t see the video on your for you page on TikTok, the New York Post covered the situation. In order to get their son on a ride, a couple created a special pair of shoes, to enable him to meet the height requirement.
Clearly, the family saw nothing wrong with this behavior, as they went on to post about it on social media. Viewers weren’t quite so forgiving for their lack of discretion.

Similarly, Disneyland is cracking down when it comes to a recent “trend” on Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! The Orange County Register reports that there have been a series of unsafe incidents on the ride at Disney California Adventure Park.
The TikTok trend encourages riders to ignore the rules, to increase airtime during the drop. Apparently, the foolish behavior involves improperly securing your seatbelt onboard the attraction.

Disneyland Warning
Disneyland was forced to issue a new safety warning as a result. Yesterday, warnings were posted at the attraction, admonishing riders to avoid the trend and follow the rules.
While it seems like common sense, it’s sad that people feel the need to push the boundaries. Guests who decide that the rules don’t apply to them will promptly be asked to leave the Park!

Seatbelts must be fastened tightly and securely onboard the attraction. We hope Guests will think twice before following a stranger’s actions on social media platforms like TikTok.
It’s simply not respectful, and not worth it to ruin the experience for yourself and for others. We hope this is the last Disneyland sees of this dangerous TikTok trend at the Park.
