Relive the 90s With This Red Mickey & Co. Shirt

One of my favorite new Walt Disney World merchandise lines is the Mickey and Co. line.

As someone who grew up going to Disney World in the 1990s and early 2000s, the character design and feel of the apparel in the Mickey and Co. line really brings me back.

Even if they weren’t necessarily the clothes I was buying at the time, I remember being surrounded by merchandise that featured Mickey and his friends in the stylized way of the times.

When visiting Curtain Call Collectables over at the Magic Kingdom today, we came upon just the kind of shirt that takes me back.

I love the way that Mickey is designed here. This shirt look like it could have been created anytime between 1993 and 2003.

Besides the classic Mickey design, the shirt also features a retro logo that will have you wondering what year it is. Mickey and Co. has done a great job of not simply copying classic shirt designs, but creating new ones that are evocative of a time gone by. For a company that is primarily built on nostalgia, Disney really knows that they are doing.
