Breaking Down Quantumania’s TWO Post-Credit Scenes!
Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the latest theatrical installation in the Marvel universe. Ant Man, the Wasp, and a brand-new villain helm the film…but it’s the mid and post-credits scenes that have the MCU fanbase talking this holiday weekend!
We are breaking down both scenes for you, including predictions of where the MCU might go next. Warning: spoilers ahead.
Mid-Credits Scene
After the heroes save the day, the credits start to roll. But not even halfway through the credits, the screen goes dark and a bonus scene plays. The first scene shows Kang (Quantumania’s villain) very much alive. Or, I should say, many Kangs, ALL very much alive.

The multiverse has opened on the heels of the defeat of the Quantumania Kang, as thousands of other Kang iterations from other worlds come together. If you’re a comic purist, you’ll spot several versions of Kang that were taken straight from the original comics.

At the end of the scene, the Kangs are all shown gathered together, looking very much like an army.

Based on this scene, we know we haven’t seen the last of Kang, and expect him (them?) to pop back up in the 2025 Avengers film.

Quantumania gave us Marvel fans not one, but two post-film scenes to contemplate.

The end-credits scene opens with yet another Kang version, but it’s Loki’s appearance that shocked audiences in this scene. What’s not shocking, is that Loki immediately recognizes Kang.

If you’ve seen Loki, you know that this encounter between Loki and Kang is simply building on the events of season 1. Loki and Kang appearing together in this post-credit scene are likely setting the scene for what’s to come in the next Marvel installation.

Although it might not be in a theatrical film, Loki’s character is going to see some development in 2023. The Disney+ show Loki is set to release its second season sometime this year!

We think a run-in with this post-credit Kang version is certain to play into the plot of Loki season 2. Especially with another Avengers film on the horizon (and Kang being the major villain in the film), we’re expecting to see Loki and Kang go head-to-head later this year when season 2 of Loki premieres on Disney+!
