Woman Falls To Death at Disneyland Parking Garage
We are so sad to share the news that the Anaheim Police Department is reporting a fatality after a guest plummeted from the Mickey and Friends Parking Garage at Disneyland Resort. As of going to print, it is uncertain whether the woman jumped or accidentally fell.
According to a report from ABC News, officers along with fire crews were called to the scene at 7pm yesterday evening (February 18, 2022) after receiving a call. By the time officers arrived at the parking structure the woman could be found on the ground at the parking garage’s north end. As of going to print, we don’t yet know whether the woman was a theme park guest.
We can confirm that the guest was rushed to a nearby hospital but was unfortunately pronounced dead upon arrival. Police have said that they will continue to investigate the incident.
This is the second incident in as many months. Back in December of 2022, a man in his 50s jumped to his death from a Disneyland parking structure.
According to a recent piece in DEADLINE, the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure is seven stories, can hold more than 10,000 cars and was built in 2000. That makes this parking garage one of the largest in the US. Unfortunately as a result there have been several reports of suicide jumps since the structure opened to the public two decades ago.
This is a story that we will continue to follow close and promise to keep you updated.
