Speculation about UFOs is nothing new, but has been particularly alluring to the public as of late thanks to certain events in the news. So, what exactly is that mysterious black ring hovering over Disneyland?

According to POPCRUSH, a recent video displaying the strange “phenomenon” has gone viral on Reddit. We must admit, it does provoke questions, based on its strikingly clear appearance!

The footage displays a perfectly shaped black ring hovering over Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. Check out the footage via a Twitter post from yesterday.
In the background, you can hear Guests trying to figure out what it is. One called it “disturbing” while viewers suggested the ring was a result of alien activity.

“Aliens really out here trying to cover their tracks. Just admit we caught you opening up a portal,” wrote one viewer. They went on to describe it as “a glitch in the matrix.”

The ring mirrored the appearance of smoke, rather than a tangible object. One user shared a more definitive response, saying that it was “a smoke ring from pyrotechnics.”

A self-proclaimed Disneyland Cast Member explained that the black ring was caused by World of Color’s fireworks. The epic water show is located at Disney California Adventure.
They shared, “I know this because I work there. I used to LMFAO at people freaking out over this.” Although the video was recently posted, it’s uncertain when it was actually recorded.
In 2016, Guests noticed something similar. YouTube footage reveals another black ring sighting over Disneyland.
