In addition to making them fashionable, Disney’s Costuming Design team ensured that the outfits would be both comfortable and functional. Costume designer Lynn Kaufman shares, “Having cast feedback and input from the beginning was critical and shaped a large part of the development of the costumes.”
She adds, “It was a really beautiful process; I’m looking forward to seeing how people react (to the costumes).”

The costumes can be mixed and matched and showcase “breathable fabrics, inclusive sizing, and optional accessories.” This gives Cast Members flexibility, allowing them to add some of their own, unique styles to the equation!
Entertainment character host Tyler Girdner shares, “Everyone has different preferences in what they wear and what makes them feel confident.” Girder helped in the costume development process!

He adds, “Having different pieces for different body types and different personalities is a really cool step forward.” Costume designer Yonit Olshan shares the importance of having Cast Members involved in the designs.
“It’s been so meaningful to include the cast in this process because we are designing for them. Everybody has a different opinion and a different need; collecting more voices was really what made this collection the success that it is.”
