How to Board TRON Lightcycle / Run Vehicles in Disney World
The ride vehicles for TRON Lightcycle / Run are quite different from your average roller coaster car!

Ride vehicles in action!
Instead of sitting in a seat, guests straddle motorcycle-like vehicles, and there have been MANY questions about how to board, how to sit, how accommodating the vehicles are for a diverse range of bodies, and more, so let’s go over everything here.
Ride Vehicles
Before you enter the queue, there are test vehicles to try out so that you can determine whether they will work for you.
Note that during our visit, we noticed a lot of people who weren’t actually testing the seats — they just taking photos, which led to a longish line.

The seats place riders in an angled position with a back restraint up to secure riders in place. The only exception is the back row of adaptive seats, which are accommodating to guests who cannot sit comfortably in the bicycle-style light cycle seating.
You can see the adaptive vehicle on the far right below, and note that we did observe a longer line for this vehicle compared to the line for standard light cycles. Because it sits only two guests at a time, you might have to wait longer to board.

The light cycle seats are fairly similar to the vehicles in Avatar: Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which also require guests to straddle their seats.

On a light cycle, you are leaning forward, and your calves and back are restrained. A peg is located behind where your knee curves, and you pull the handlebars to secure your position.

Our MickeyBloggers found the light cycles to be pretty comfortable. They said that while you do lean forward the restraints were not super tight, and they had some room to move.
They also noticed some guests maneuvering around to find the right fit, so you may have to do that as well.

There’s one other thing to discuss regarding the TRON vehicles — which is, how exactly do you board them?
Boarding
The boarding process for the TRON light cycle seats is a bit different than other rides.

If your vehicle is on the opposite side from where you’re boarding, you don’t have to climb over a light cycle to get to yours. Instead, there is an area where you can walk behind the light cycle pairs to get to yours.
