Disney+ Celebrates Valentine’s Day With “Rosaline” Streaming For A Limited Time
We are well into February which means love is in the air! Disney+ is getting in on the warm and fuzzy feelings and is offering its U.S. subscribers a special Valentine’s surprise. From February 10-15 Disney+ subscribers can stream “Rosaline” the romantic comedy which originally debuted on Hulu last October.
We all know the tragic love story of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet”. “Rosaline” is a fresh, comedic twist on the tale that follows Juliet’s cousin (and Romeo’s recent love interest) Rosaline. Heartbroken when Romeo meets Juliet and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy.
From 20th Century Studios, “Rosaline” stars Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced, Kyle Allen and Sean Teale, with Minnie Driver and Bradley Whitford.
“Rosaline” was directed by Karen Maine from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, based on the novel “When You Were Mine” by Rebecca Serle. Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine are the producers, with Kaitlin Dever, Scott Neustadter, Michael H. Weber, Whitney Brown, Emily Morris and Becca Edelman serving as executive producers.
Disney+ subscribers can find additional love stories from “Lady and the Tramp” to “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella” to “WandaVision” in the Valentine’s Day collection on Disney+.
