A Mystery Wall Has Appeared at a Favorite Magic Kingdom Shoppe!
Two shoppes are better than one… right?
We’ve got a bit of a mystery to report on for you today!
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, the beautiful holiday decor store located in the Magic Kingdom, is a wonderful place to visit if you’re in need of some seasonal cheer. However, our latest visit left us feeling not so much festive, as fully flummoxed!
When our MickeyBlog reporters stepped foot into the Liberty Square store, we felt that familiar, discombobulating feeling that something was amiss. The store seemed even cozier than usual!
Or… could it be… smaller… perhaps?
The more and more we pondered it, one thing became very clear. That wall was definitely not there before!
That’s right, a brand new wall has just been erected, effectively cutting the large store in half down the middle.
Why would you want to halve this magically merry store? was the question on our lips. But, don’t worry, the oddity doesn’t end there!
When we headed out the shoppe, and walked around the building to the store’s other entrance, we were completely bemused to find that the other half of the store was, in fact, still there!
So, what’s the point of this news article?
Well, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe remains open in its entirety, still selling beautiful holiday items and ornaments all the way through. It still has two entrances, and two cash register stations.
But, there’s now a great big wall, halving the place for no obvious reason!
Right now, we don’t have any information as to why the store has been divided into two like this. Whether it is for development, refurbishment, or even structural reasons remains to be seen, and we won’t speculate in the meantime.
However, we are thrilled that the store remains open to guests as normal, albeit in two separate halves. Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe A, and Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe B, perhaps?
