2023 Soundtrack: Best Disney Park Songs to Add to Your Playlist
A new year is upon us. New Disney attractions, restaurants, and experiences are on the horizon. If you’re lucky, you may even have a Walt Disney World trip in the works.
Whether or not you jumped on the recent booking deals or are still daydreaming, Orlando’s probably on your mind. That means you’re probably looking for ways to live a Disney life at home.
Many fans do this by binging their favorite movies, trying Disney copycat recipes, and listening to music. Specifically, the Disney music library is more versatile than ever before.
With beloved movie soundtracks, attraction songs, and scores composed for park nighttime spectaculars, hours of pixie-dusted listening are available.
To get in the Disney spirit, we’ve rounded up our favorite songs for a magical playlist. We wish you happy listening!
Resort TV Music
Nothing puts people in a Disney mood quite like the Resort TV music. If you’re not aware, the Resort TV channel is available on all Disney hotel televisions.
This channel is a rotating list of park times, show times, and a current Orlando weather forecast.
The best part is the medleys of Disney and Disney Parks music that plays on a constant loop. For many guests, this channel provides the soundtrack for their mornings and wind-down time at night.
For those of us stuck at home, YouTube is a great resource for reliving these magical hotel stays.

Fantasmic!
Thankfully, this show has returned to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, so listening to this soundtrack makes us a little less wistful. There are a couple of different versions, but all capture the same spirit and original theme by composer Bruce Healy.
Join Mickey on a terrifying and magical adventure as he explores his dreams, overcomes his nightmares, and ultimately saves the day.
The soundtrack for Mickey’s journey is full of Disney hits, original music, and a finale that will make you believe in magic again. Settle in for 30 minutes of musical excellence.
Happily Ever After
Many a tear was shed when the Wishes fireworks show was retired, but its replacement delivers on every level. The impressive projections, sparkling fireworks, and memorable soundtrack made this show an instant hit.
The show was put on pause, but with its return slated for April of this year, it’s time to brush up on the music!
Happily Ever After’s soundtrack includes a medley of popular films (mostly from the renaissance era) and a brand-new theme song. Expertly sung by Jordan Fisher and Angie Kelihauer, it makes for a very sentimental earworm.
We guarantee happiness every time you give it a listen.
Nothing Can Stop Us Now
When it was announced that The Great Movie Ride was going to be replaced, few fans cried more than the lifelong vets. Now, these same people (like this author) love Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway with a fiery passion.
The smooth trackless ride, the next-level animatronics, and the impressive animation make this the dark ride of tomorrow. Best of all, the jaunty theme song is ridiculously catchy.
If you find yourself in a sour mood or homesick for Disney World, turn on “Nothing Can Stop Us Now”. This tune will transport you to Hollywood Studios. The stars will be your guide.
HarmonioUS/Disney Enchantment Soundtracks
For Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, two special nighttime spectaculars were released.
Over in EPCOT, HarmonioUS lit up the skies with fireworks, music featuring popular songs sung in all kinds of languages, and clever water projections. In the Magic Kingdom, Disney Enchantment also boasted jaw-dropping projections, glittering fireworks, and a nostalgic soundtrack.
Whether or not you loved these shows, they are “glowing” away with the 50th celebration. There’s a limited time to see them once more, but the music will live on.
We invite you to relax, pull up a chair, and appreciate the music for both short-lived (but still heartfelt) shows.
There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
Walt was right about so many things, including his belief that the parks would never be completed. Risk-taking, improvement, and change would always be occurring.
With change comes risk. No one likes to leave their comfort zone. (This is probably why Disney fans oppose small changes.)
But Walt was enchanted by the promise of tomorrow. And what song can better capture that spirit than the Sherman Brother’s classic hit (for The Carousel of Progress), “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow”?
This hopeful tune is so much more than a timeless park song. It embodies everything Walt believed in. No matter what happens, it gives us reason to believe that the best day of our lives is tomorrow.
While the past few years have been rough, we hope this song brings you the hope we all sorely need.
Music can truly heal and transport the soul. We hope at least one song (or all of them) brings a smile your way.
