PhotoPass Photographers Now Sporting “New” Old Costumes on Main Street, U.S.A.
Who doesn’t love a morning stroll down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A?
Our MickeyBloggers are reporting from the Magic Kingdom today, where there’s smiles to be seen along every inch of the iconic Disney avenue. However, the cheer is particularly radiating from the fabulous Main Street Cast Members, who are enjoying quite the change in style this February…
We’re here with the lovely Disney PhotoPass photographer Karen, who is looking particularly dapper in a brand-new costume this morning as she captures lifelong memories for guests in front of the Main Street Station.
Well, we say “brand-new” costume, but it’s actually a returning style from back before the park closures of 2020!
Yesterday, we were excited to report that all PhotoPass photographers were now sporting a brand-new costume, crafted from a snazzy, lime-green shade of eco-friendly material. You can check out a photo of this costume being worn over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios below…
In order to ensure these photographers are easily identifiable for guests wherever they visit, we were under the impression that all PhotoPass Cast Members will be wearing these outfits across Walt Disney World.
However, it appears that the Main Street photographers are the exception to this rule, instead sporting their fun and classic costumes of blue pinstripe shirts, pristine white trousers, and navy necktie.
In our eyes, this exception makes a lot of sense. Main Street, U.S.A. is one of the most iconic places for photo-taking in the whole of Walt Disney World, and there are often many PhotoPass photographers stationed all the way up the road leading to Cinderella Castle. Having the Cast Members wearing this classic attire helps them fit the overall theme of the area, as well as making sure they don’t accidentally stick out in vibrant neon in other guests’ photos.
All in all, we’re big fans both PhotoPass costumes, but definitely see why having this one on Main Street, U.S.A. would be the preferred option!
So, if you are looking for any photographers stationed between the entrance to the park up to the end of the buildings along Main Street, be sure to watch out for them in this alternative attire. Be sure to compliment them on their look, and enjoy taking some fabulous photos in such a fantastic location!
Also, big thanks to Karen for being such a marvellous model for us in the Magic Kingdom today!
