More Blue Signs Appear as New MK Traffic Pattern Begins

Today, we spotted even more blue signage near Magic Kingdom. Avid Disney property purple sign fans will recall the appearance of the first blue sign last year, which was hung just ahead of the Galactic Starcruiser opening. 

Now, it appears that the blue trend has officially taken off. The new MK entry traffic pattern- which has been under construction for almost 5 years- finally opened this week. With the opening came the appearance of these newest blue signs. 

The new bridge will help alleviate traffic bottlenecks by diverting vehicles traveling to the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Shades of Green over the new bridge prior to the Magic Kingdom toll plaza. 

While it doesn’t appear that Disney will be taking down their iconic purple signs anytime soon, it’s clear that all new signs going forward will most likely be…blue.
