FIRST LOOK at New ‘Wondrous Journeys’ Fireworks Show in Disneyland
It’s officially the first day of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebration!

This event, called Disney100, is full of new merchandise, entertainment, and more, and we were invited by Disney to preview a few special new offerings, like Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and the World of Color — ONE nighttime spectacular.

Now we’re back with another new nighttime show, and this time it’s in Disneyland Park!
Wondrous Journeys
Wondrous Journeys is a new nighttime spectacular that celebrates 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios in Disneyland Park, and it transforms Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. with projecting and lighting effects.

And then it was time for the show! Wondrous Journeys includes references to every Walt Disney Animation Studios film (including the new film, Wish, coming soon). It also includes a whopping 18 different Disney songs!

In addition to the projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle, you can also see projections up and down Main Street, U.S.A. How amazing does this look??

If we take a look back toward Sleeping Beauty Castle, you might want to look to the skies. Baymax from Big Hero 6 actually flies over the castle!

It’s important to note that fireworks only appear during select Wondrous Journeys showings. Fireworks nights are listed as “Wondrous Journeys with Fireworks” on Disneyland’s website and in the My Disney Experience app.
On January 27th, the show DOES include fireworks, and it begins at 9:35PM.

Wondrous Journeys kicks off on January 27th, but make sure you check Disneyland’s calendar so that you can visit on the date of the show you prefer.
