First Look: Banana Split Parfait at Dockside Diner in Hollywood Studios
We’ve got a colorful sweet treat to brighten up your Thursday afternoon! Our East Coast MickeyBloggers are spending the day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and popped by the Dockside Diner to try the new Banana Split Parfait!
This colorful treat is made up of a chocolate mousse base.
Above that is a layer of banana mousse.
A layer of fresh strawberries is then added into the mix.
A big dollop of whipped cream adds the finishing touches.
The top of the Banana Split Parfait is also decorated with Spiced Pineapple.
As you can see from the sign below, you can pick up the Banana Split Parfait for $7.49.
Our MickeyBogger Kristen tried the Banana Split Parfait.
Overall she gave it a thumbs up but said that its a busy treat, especially with all of the different layers each with their own flavor.
Kristen also said that the fresh strawberries were the best part.
We’re also told that the spiced pineapple atop the Banana Split Parfait is decorated with crunchy candy which gives the treat a nice texture.
The only criticism about the Banana Split Parfait is that the dish didn’t really deliver on banana flavors. Out of all of the different layers, the banana was the most understated.
