Disneyland Monorail Gets a 100th Anniversary Makeover
We’ve got a beautiful rainbow of awesomeness to share with you. Our MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa have touched down at Disneyland Resort where 100th Anniversary celebrations are about to kick off! During their walk through Downtown Disney our MickeyBloggers noticed that the monorail has been given a fun 100th Anniversary makeover.
As you can see the 100th Anniversary Monorail features a rainbow of beautiful hues and lots of pixie dust.
The front of the monorail features some of our favorite Walt Disney World friends.
You’ll notice Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy. Pluto, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
You can’t help but smile when seeing the monorail as you walk toward the front gates of Disneyland theme park.
This is just one of the many awesome decorative touches we’re seeing across Disneyland Resort to celebrate the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary.
The flipside of the monorail features an image of Tinker Bell.
You’ll also notice the 100th Anniversary logo on the monorail.
As you can see, the rainbow hues on the monorail shift in the light.
If you look closely, you may also see the Chip and Dale dancing around the 100th Anniversary logo.
The monorail makeover is just one of the many ways that Disneyland is celebrating the 100th Anniversary.
Other highlights include a brand new nighttime show at Disney California Adventure – World of Color-ONE.
There’s also a new nighttime spectacular at Disneyland in Wondrous Journeys.
In addition, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will officially open at Toontown in Disneyland on January 27th.
We’ll be sharing more highlights throughout our weekend at Disneyland including of other 100th Anniversary décor.
