CASTING CALL: Disney Is Looking For a Gaston for Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage at Hollywood Studios
Do you have dreams of being Disney’s talk, dark, strong and handsome brute!? Now may be your chance. Walt Disney World is doing a casting call for the role of Gaston for Beauty and the Beast, Live on Stage! which is a live stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The casting call will take place on January 27, 2023 at 6:30pm at the Disney Animal Kingdom Rehearsal Facility (3271 Sherberth Road, Orlando, Florida 34737.) Sign-ups for the event will start at 6pm.

The successful candidate will get $22/hour minimum and the role includes the possibility of Equity Pension, Equity 401K & Disney Health.
For those unfamiliar, Gaston is the main villain in Beauty and the Beast and Disney describes him in the casting call as “a male identifying, arrogant, self-centered egoist who tries to get Belle to marry him.” Disney is looking for actors 6′ or taller who is a resonant baritone with low A to top G.

To prepare for the role, Disney is asking candidates to prepare a 16-bar selection as well as Gaston material found in the posting at DisneyAuditions.com. You’ll find it here.
Casting Director Dan Dan LoBuono-Wahl and Monitor Greg James will be in attendance. Call-backs are expected to happen in February with contracts (3-month minimum) for early march.
