Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Will Open at Disneyland with a Virtual Queue
January 27th is the official grand opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland!
When Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway debuts in Toontown, guests will need to join a virtual queue via the Disneyland app to ride the new attraction. No traditional stand-by will be available on opening day. The ride will also be available as an Individual Lightning Lane purchase.

The virtual queue enrollment times of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be twice daily at 7AM and 1PM PT. You can enter one of the virtual queues only once per day.
7AM virtual queue: Guests must have valid park admission and a park reservation for Disneyland Park. Guests can confirm their party in the Disneyland app at 6AM to join the queue at 7AM.
1PM virtual queue: Guests must be in Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure. Guests can also confirm their party at 12PM to join the queue at 1PM.

In the lobby of the El CapiTOON Theater, guests in line will be able to check out “Mickey Through the Ears,” featuring all kinds of Mickey memorabilia.
And before boarding the ride, guests get to watch Mickey and Minnie in the cartoon short, “Perfect Picnic.”
