EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion Building Receives Refresh
Our MickeyBlogger is at EPCOT today, where she visited World Showcase. Upon her entrance into the Canada Pavilion, she noticed that one of its buildings received a refresh!
World Showcase
Guests can discover different cultures across 11 countries in World Showcase. Currently, the area is celebrating the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
MickeyBlog has been bringing you news from the various booths scattered around. From eats and treats to art and interactive experiences, the celebration is beloved by Disney fans.
Guests can experience it for themselves now through February 20, 2023. The 11 Pavilions in World Showcase include Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, The American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Canada Pavilion
The Canada Pavilion is all about the outdoors, with a canyon, a waterfall, gardens, totem poles, and more! Its main attraction is Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360.
A 12-minute experience, it allows Guests to explore Canada’s cities, scenery, and people. For dining, Le Cellier Steakhouse is an upscale location offering delicious steak and seafood options.
Building
One of the buildings in the Canada pavilion has suffered the effects of oxidation over the years. Notice the damage in the photo below.
Although you can see specks of the original material peeking through, it’s predominately weathered. All of its surrounding areas have been affected as well.
Refresh
But, it looks like Disney World is on top of it because the roof is no longer green. It now dons a bright, copper-looking finish.
Check out the photos from our MickeyBlogger below!
It looks so different!
It’s definitely a noticeable change!
As you can see from the various angles, all areas of the roof have been given some TLC.
It’s the little things! We’re glad to see EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion building back to its former glory, post-refresh!
