That’s right, we’d recommend all you APs spread your ears and soar on over to Epcot, as the newest AP magnet has just sailed onto the scene!
Over the years, the humble Annual Passholder magnet has become somewhat of an institution at Walt Disney World.
Highly collectible and always sought-after, it’s not unusual to see passholders lining up in their masses to get their hands on these cute character collectibles each time they’re distributed.
And you’d best bet we’re always among the crowds, waiting to pick up one for ourselves, too!
Earlier on in the month, the newest magnet design was sneakily teased to passholders on the My Disney Experience app, with just a feather and a cryptic “we’re all ears” clue to decipher.
Of course, we were smart enough to deduce that the first character to appear on a magnet in 2023 was to be the beautiful Dumbo, and that’s who we’re here to marvel at today!
The ninth wonder of the universe, as some may say?
For this extra-special magnet release, it’s over to the Creations Shop in Epcot we go, ready for the distribution circus.
While it only really takes a Walt Disney World Annual Pass to get your hands on one of these, there’s a strict protocol to be followed when it comes to distribution. This is simply to make sure that nobody misses out, so join us in line as we wait our turn!
Our MickeyBlogger Kristen arrived at Epcot nice and early this morning, where bright yellow signage was ready on display to let us know where we had to head for the magnets.
As well as arrows pointing us towards Creations, the signage also reminded us that we had to have our Annual Pass and photo ID ready and on-hand, in order to claim our magnet freebie!
Of course, there were plenty of magnets available to go around by the time Kristen reached the front of the queue, and we’re so glad.
How cute are these sweet magnet designs?
Once Kristen had her MagicBand and ticket scanned, she confirmed the whole process of lining up to get her magnet took only five minutes. So, in true Disney fashion, the whole process was nice and simple, quick, and efficient!
Now we’re able to get a closer look at the magnet, which depicts the ever-gorgeous Dumbo peering out from a big Disney “D,” colored in a hot shade of fuschia pink.
Both the Walt Disney World and Annual Passholder logos are displayed on there too, ready to be shown off with pride!
Whether stuck to a fridge or a car, these AP magnets always make us smile. Especially when the process of obtaining one is as easy as it was for us today!
So, if you’re an Annual Passholder yourself, make sure you head on down to Creations in Epcot. The distribution will be taking place from today through February 20th, from 9am-9pm, while supplies last. Be sure you don’t miss out!
