FIRST LOOK: The Painted Panda Food Studio at Festival of the Arts
We’re Back! MickeyBlog has returned to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts where we’re continuing to try out the menus items at the food booths! Our first stop today is at The Painted Panda located at the China Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase.
The menu here is brimming with awesome Asian-inspired goodies.
Let’s start with the main menu. There are two entrees:
- General Tso’s Chicken Shumai
- Char Siu Pork Bun
Let’s start with General Tso’s Chicken Shumai.
Our MickeyBlogger Kristen gave this dish a huge thumbs up!
She said that their is a mild spice but its not overpowering. The buns themselves were crunchy and fresh.
The cucumbers underneath were a nice light touch and didn’t make the dumplings soggy which is what we were worried about.
An order of three buns will set you back $10.75.
Our next dish is the Char Siu Pork Bun.
Our MickeyBlogger Jessica tried out this dish and said that it was super yummy! The pork in the bun was a bit dry but was douches in a delectable sauce that pairs perfectly.
The bun was slightly spicy but again nothing overpowering.
Jessica said that the pork is seasoned to perfect with just a bit of pepper.
The bun is light and fluffy just like you would want it to be!
The brings us to The Painted Panda beverages. There is one non-alcoholic drink on offer – “Panda” Bubble Milk Tea.

Jessica tried the Bubble Milk Tea as well and said “It’s as amazing as it sounds and looks!”
Jessica said that the Milk Tea tastes like a chocolate milk.
The Boba Pearls feature an extra bit of flavor.
The icing on the cake is definitely the Oreo mouse ears.
The whipped cream is also wonderfully fluffy.
Jessica said that the tea flavor was very faint. The drink definitely tasted more of chocolate milk than a black tea.
There are three Alcoholic Drinks available at The Painted Panda
- Lucky Foo Pale Ale. $5.25 (6oz) $9.00 (12oz.)
- Silk Road Hard Lemonade with Smirnoff Vodka, Lavender-Coconut Syrup and Lemonade. $13.50
- Sea Butterfly: Butterfly Pea Flower-Infused Cocktail with Smirnoff Vodka, Light Rum, Lychee Syrup and Magic Boba Pearls $13.75
The last treat we tried was the Silk Road Hard Lemonade.
First of all, this might be the most beautiful drink we’ve EVER picked up at EPCOT!
The drink is a beautiful pink hue with purple sugar around the rim.
Our MickeyBlogger Kristen said that the drink is okay but definitely not as spectacular as its appearance.
Kristen said that it doesn’t have a traditional lemonade taste. It’s not tart and the flavor is very mild.
Jessica tried this beauty as well and said that she was getting strong hints of lavender and coconut. But not Lemonade.
