Spaceship Earth Comes to Life With Imagination For Festival of the Arts
When the Beacons of Magic light up Spaceship Earth at the end of the night, it is one of the most magical sights on Disney property.
Debuting as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, the beacons have become the perfect way to end a wonderful day at EPCOT. Spaceship Earth comes live with magic and hope.
Since its original debut, the park has been given variations on the original presentation, each of which lasts a couple o fminutes. In addition to the original Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary presentation, the park also now has an EPCOT40 show, Rainbow Connection (featuring the Kermit) and now, something new.
With the EPCOT International Festival of Arts kicking off today, the Beacons of Magic celebration has been given a special Figment-ized upgrade!
The new show features Spaceship Earth coming to life with imagination! As Figment and Dreamfinder(!) sing One Little Spark from the original Journey Into Imagination attraction, EPCOT’s icon glows with color!
This special presentation of Beacons of Magic was created specifically for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The show rotates with the other versions of Beacons of Magic, so you are going to want to give yourself some time at the end of the night to catch it!

I have to say the Journey Into Imagination version of Beacons of Magic was great way to end an exciting day at EPCOT’s International Festival of the arts!
