Figment’s Inspiration Station Has Amazing Artwork
In case you somehow haven’t heard, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicked off today at EPCOT.
While a lot of attention has rightfully been paid to the exotic cuisine that has popped up all over World Showcase, we can’t forget about the art!
Over at Figment’s Inspiration Station, there is a ton of beautiful Disney available for you to browse through and take home! While we are not going to be able to go through all of the art, let’s take a look at some of my favorite pieces.
Hollywood Studios Print
First up, we have this collection of paintings based on the Disney Parks. While I love the Animal Kingdom print, and the Sleeping Beauty Castle piece is beautiful, I want to talk about that Hollywood Studios painting!
Of all the depictions that I have seen of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I think that this piece melds the feeling of classic Hollywood and also the new Star Wars theming the best.
In front of the glowing lights of Hollywood, the Millennium Falcon has taken flight! Juxtaposed with the Hollywood Tower Hotel, this piece is amazing!
Mr. Toad Portrait
Next up we have this magnificent Mr. Toad portrait. It looks like our friend Mr. Toad has done very well for himself, and he sure looks regal.
The Lord of Toad Hall is serenely standing in front of his domain here. A far cry from the manic expression he usually has!
Sonny Eclipse Poster
Last but not least, we have my personal favorite piece of art a poster for Sonny Eclipse!
This poster serves almost as an advertisement for Sonny’s appearance at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café!
I love the design of Sonny here, and the fact that his Astro Organ is depicted!
