Beware: ‘Aladdin’ Snake Charmer Shirt Haunts at Creations
It may be the start of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, but a new t-shirt at Creations Shop embraces the more villainous side of the Disney canon. With incredible detail, the “Aladdin”-themed tee explodes with dark imagery and unique colors.
From the bottom of the design, Jafar sneers in a bright white outline. The dastardly villain finds himself surrounded by two cobras that introduce the shirt’s purple hue. Designed to look like a key-hole, Jafar’s signature headwear gives the shirt’s design a geometrical focal point.
With smoke-like accents, the tee’s font whistfully swirls across the bottom of Jafar’s devilish face. The tee’s slogan, “Snake Charmer,” stands out as the only lettering on the shirt.
Though Aladdin himself does not appear in the shirt’s design, Jasmine’s silhoutte does hide in the shadows. A giant cobra serpent resembling Jafar himself looms over her as she looks on at the palace.
As the geometric pattern extends to the top of the tee, the enormous tiger head that protects the Cave of Wonders almost engulfs the rest of the shirt’s design.
The fabric of the cotton tee uses a heathered black as a base, which allows for the range of purples and oranges used in the imagery to pop.
As they rushed to get a first look at the abundance of new merchandise debuting today for the Festival of the Arts, MickeyBloggers spotted the new t-shirt alongside the display of graphic tees at Creations Shop, the mainstay of merchandise at EPCOT. The tee retails for $29.99.
Stay tuned for the latest from the festival as the art and food booths all open in about an hour!
